We always accept our animals back. If things don’t work out, we encourage you to contact us—no judgment, ever.

When bringing home a rescue, it usually takes 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to start learning the new routine, and 3 months to feel completely at home. This is just a general guideline, and all animals will adjust differently, but it is important to keep this in mind when bringing home a new pet.

For everyone’s safety—yours and the animals’—we require visitors to sign a waiver before entering the sanctuary. Our property includes many types of animals and active rescue areas, which can have uneven terrain or unexpected activity. The waiver ensures you understand the environment and agree to follow safety guidelines while visiting. It also helps us maintain a safe, positive experience for all guests and volunteers.
