The Barn

Our six-stall barn was thoughtfully designed to create a warm, comfortable and refined retirement home for our animals.

The barn features custom 16 foot Douglas-fir doors, finished in a rich red walnut dye that will naturally lighten over time. Each door weighing 700 lbs., yet custom-built hinges allow them to open and close effortlessly with a soft touch.

Inside, our 5/8” interlocking rubber pavers, offer durability while enhancing comfort and creating a more intimate atmosphere throughout the space. The ceilings are crafted from 3/4” tongue-and-groove cypress, finished with a red walnut dye and sealed for long-lasting protection.

The barn is complete with custom steel powder-coated stall gates and partitions with brick stall fronts and sides. Each stall is lined with custom sized stall mats with automatic waterers.

Each stall has access to an individual paddock. Each paddock remains open to allow 24/7 access to pastures to ensure the animals can actually be animals -  form bonds, play, nap in the sun and grow old in peace.

No breeding expectations. No pressure to perform. No production demands. Just safety, care and time.
